Climax Pink Skin Vibrator Review

I’m always open to road testing different types of sex toys, especially when there is an array of different materials in today’s market.

The Climax Pink Skin Vibrator is made from a material called Cyberskin. Cyberskin is specially formulated to imitate real-life skin, it isn’t 100% phthalate-free, latex-free and is waterproof. This specific material warms up to body temperature, it has the softness and elasticity of human skin and is that life-like, that products made from Cyberskin are the best for that ‘true to life’ feel.

The Climax Pink Skin Vibrator comes in a clear plastic box that is molded to the shape of the vibrator. On the front of the product packaging, you are given the name of the product, a full view of the vibrator and at the bottom, there is a hole that has a partial bit of Cyberskin material on show, for you to feel. On the reserve side of the packaging, you are given full details of this sex toy. I can happily say that the product packaging is not tasteless and is informative.

Measurements; 7 inches x 1.5 inches, with an insert-able length of 6.5 inches.

When using lubricant, only use a water-based product with this vibrator, as oil based and silicone can ruin the material. To clean, remove the pink sleeve and wash the vibrator and sleeve in warm water.

Taking the vibrator out of the packaging, I was actually shocked. I’ve held Cyberskin products before, they felt real (to an extent), smooth, squishy and had that skin smooth-yet-abit-rough feel. But holding the Climax Pink, it felt tacky and sticky. It didn’t have that ‘real life’ feel that Cyberskin boasts about.

I removed the pink skin layer, to reveal a 7″ straight vibrator made from plastic. Removing the pink skin was easy but to replace it was a bit tricky, mainly due to the jelly like sleeve being rubbery.

I really needed to put these points to one side and hope that this vibrator could redeem it’s self, in use.

This vibrator takes 2 x AA batteries, which are not supplied by Topco (the company who made this sex toy). Unscrewing the bottom of the vibrator, you have to place the AA batteries + end into the vibrator and then screw the end back on. To switch on, you simply twist the end of the screw cap to the right and the vibrations start. The Climax Pink has a gradual vibration build up.

This vibrator has near to nothing in the power department, with the pink Cyberskin on, even taking the sleeve off, this vibrator just doesn’t hit the nail on the head. And as for the noise, this is definitely NOT a discreet sex toy. You can even hear the sound of the buzzing, through the bedroom door……not good!

How do I sum this review up? For me, this sex toy was appalling! If I am honest, it seems like a cheap Cyberskin product and I do have my worries. After 1 use and then washing in warm water, pat drying and then leaving it to dry naturally, I came back to find that the pink sleeve had started peeling. How can I say to my readers that this product is body safe, when it really isn’t. I wouldn’t keep a vibrator like this, it is not safe for 1) you and 2) keeping in your sex toy draw.
