Bondage Boutique Vaginal Speculum Review

Here’s a product that I’ve hesitantly approached, one that pretty much graces my ‘must avoid‘ list! I really wasn’t keen on reviewing a Speculum, mainly as I’ve never experienced a good experience with one. Ladies. you should know how this goes, especially if you’ve ever had a smear or had to have one used during pregnancy.

Disposable Speculum

But I tucked my niggling issues aside and delved in with an open mind!

A while back, Ododi kindly asked if I would review the Bondage Bouutique Vaginal Speculum and as it’s a sex product that I haven’t tried in the bedroom, I felt I had to give it ago.

If you don’t know what a vaginal speculum is, it is a medical item that looks like a duck bill that a nurse or doctor will use to open up a woman’s vaginal passage to gain entry into their cervix.

I love my fetish side to life but I have never walked into the medical side pf the fetish world. This hasn’t been something I really felt I could get into, seeing as I have had a varied past with operations and such. Don’t get me wrong, it does intrigue me and this review is the first time I’ve viewed an vaginal speculumapparatus like this, in a sexual nature or to review.

Before starting, you need to make sure you have a good water-based lubricant, for me as we’re opening up our lady bits, I would prefer to use something like YES organic water based lube.

You also need to be as relaxed as possible, otherwise when the speculum is inserted, it can feel discomforting. Personally, I found that being on the edge of the bed, laying on your back, put the palms of your feet together and let your legs rest down, kind of like a yoga’fied’ position. It might help if you put a pillow under your bum too.

Unscrew the speculum, so that the ‘beak’ is closed and lube it up, don’t be shy with the lube, the more you apply, the better! Have your partner slowly insert the speculum and this is where you need to be confident and direct your partner! Once in. screw the orange cap, so that the beak opens up. It has a capacity to open up fully to 4 inches. It’s important to know that ladies, don’t tense up your kegals, because this is a plastic, although medically graded speculum, you could squeeze a little too hard and well, it may make your eyes water!

This Bondage Boutique Vaginal Speculum has a length of 3.5 inches and 3.75 inches girth at it’s widest. It’s made from a see-through plastic material and contains no latex or phthalates, which makes it 100% body safe.

Usually, I can give an sex toy product a couple of tries, to know my feelings but with this vaginal vaginal speculumspeculum, I had to use it over a matter of 3 weeks, before I got into my ‘groove’. I wasn’t a duck to water with this product but we did have fun with it. It allowed my partner to see my g-spot grow with excitement and let my submissive side take over. Once I was able to relax, I enjoyed our time with it. For what is essentially a movable piece of plastic, it did give me and the fella a fair bit of pleasure!

Very durable, easy to use and if you have a slim vibrato.r to hand, you can easily slip it through the speculum opening and tease her g-spot

I will add a side note: Unscrew the speculum with lube-free hands, other-wise it’s a bit like watching a comedy clip on you tube.

Ododi’s discreet packaging always holds up it’s side of the bargain. There was no direct indication that my naughty parcel was coming from a very teasing HQ of pleasure. I was a little worried to see that the speculum it’s self only comes in a thin plastic sealed bag and I hoped my item was safe, which is was.

I may not venture into the medical fetishism side but I won’t be ruling out putting this speculum away for good!
