How To Stop Premature Ejaculation

At some time during their life most men will suffer with premature ejaculation, it’s a common problem with several factors influencing when you ejaculate. In most cases a little planning can help reduce this but medical help can be the only answer in extreme cases. To increase your sexual stamina and reduce premature ejaculation we have compiled a few strategies you should consider.

Wear a Condom.

Some of the best ideas are the simplest and this works for the majority of men. The condom will reduce the stimulation on the penis which makes you last longer. Consider purchasing a thicker walled condom which reduces sensitivity. Look out for condoms that have a numbing gel coating on the inside which will also put you off ejaculating even longer.

Apply Pressure.

Two different pressure points can delay ejaculation; the first is an area between your anus and scrotum called your perineum. Pressing midway between these points places pressure on the prostate gland, it’s this gland that expands and contracts as you orgasm expelling the ejaculation fluid.

The second is called the Testes Tug. As you near orgasm your scrotum moves closer to your body, pulling your testes gently down and away from you can delay ejaculation.

Relax.

The more it happens the more anxious you will become. Increase the time spent on your partner’s foreplay, they will love the extra attention and this reduce the foreplay time spent on yourself. Suffering from premature ejaculation doesn’t mean you are not still a great lover.

Think of Something Different.

A method many men employ is when they start getting a little too excited simply think of something different, it’s got to be something totally unsexy such as footy, jobs you still have to do around the house or the weekly food shop. You only need a 5 to 10 second break from arousal before re-focusing on your partner. Try not to consider things that may make you completely lose your mojo, such as the argument you had with your boss during the day.

Edging.

Controlling your orgasm or edging takes practice and is the method of delaying ejaculation whilst keeping sexual arousal. The more you practice the easier it gets.

The first method is called the Stop-and-start. Have sex as normal until you feel yourself close to orgasm; stop all stimulation for 30 seconds. You can then begin again and repeat the process until you want to orgasm.

The second is the Squeeze technique. Locate the area on your penis where the glans meet the shaft then place your forefinger and thumb around this part squeezing gently for a few seconds. Stop all stimulation again for around 30 seconds before continuing.

Change positions.

Certain sex positions stimulate the penis more than others. Keep away from the missionary and doggie style positions as the friction caused by these will be difficult to ignore. Look at trying more passive positions such as spooning side-by-side or with your partner on top. Slowing down your movements during intercourse can also help; if things get a little hot remember your 30 second break.

Practice.

When masturbating with your partner or alone practice controlling when you climax, bring yourself to the edge of an orgasm and then stop. Repeat this a few times and learn the feeling of when you are about to climax. You get to discover your point of no return and this allows you to adjust your stimulation accordingly.

Things to consider.

As men get older most tend to gain more control so if you are still young you shouldn’t worry too much, things will start to get easier especially if you regularly practice these techniques. Premature ejaculation and other erectile problems are rarely permanent, don’t worry too much and sex has the benefit of reducing stress levels which may even help. Regular climaxing can also reduce the chance of prostate cancer in men.
