Tantus Mark O2 Silicone Dildo Review

This realistic dildo from Tantus is natural looking although a bit on the stylized side. The toy is made in a dual-density silicon that is called O2. Providing a nice real feeling. Read my impressions after the jump!

Technical

The Mark is part of Tantus’ realistic O2 range of dildos. It is made of platinum silicone through and through, which is body safe, odor free and can be fully sterilized. It is a reasonably small toy with dimensions of 11.7 cm in circumference at the base of the shaft, 10.8 cm at the head, 15cm total length and 14cm insertable. This is something around the average and should not be too much for anyone.
Packaging

The toy comes packaged in a see through plastic box. Those familiar to Tantus has most likely seen this design before, as it is used for most of their toys. This is very tasty and displays the toy very well. No sleazy images here, only a brief description of the toy in a classy manner. The dildo is securely held in place by a clam shell insert.

The box itself is a bit flimsy and can easily squish. It can be used as storage, but I would prefer something else. I do not like to fiddle around with boxes. The box also tends to make the toy a bit static, so be careful if you end up storing it in that one. We don’t want to zap our delicate body parts, now would we?

Impressions

The dildo is very nice looking. I got mine in the lovely Cocoa, a nice caramel color. The shaft has a silky matte texture with subtle veins and the head is contrasting with a shiny surface. It only has a slight drag to it, and does feel really nice. If silicone could be called velvety, this would be it.

When you lube it up you soon forget what it is made of. It instantly transform into a super slick piece of meat. And the material holds on to the lubricant very well. Be sure to use only water based lubricant with this, as silicone lubricant can react with the surface of the toy.

The dual-density material makes it relatively firm but with a very soft outer layer that makes sure it is comfortable to use. You can best feel this effect at the head which is super plush and squishy. Along the shaft, it is really only the veins that are as soft. When compared to regular silicone toys the difference is remarkable! It adds a bit of dimension to the toy which is very nice.

As mentioned the head is very soft, that is because the firm core does not reach all the way to the tip, and because of this it is more comfortable play around with. No risk of getting poked as it will absorb most of the impact.

It has a slight curve that can be angled towards the P-spot or the G-spot. It is flexible and can easily bend to accommodate your needs – although it feels surprisingly sturdy. It does not flop and is firm enough for easy insertion.

The wide and very firm base making it harness compatible as well as anal safe. It also makes it easy to thrust by holding the dildo at the base. You can also use it in a standing position as the base is completely smooth on the underside.

During use it feels almost completely smooth as the veins are too soft to provide any real stimulation. It adjusts to body temperature quite quickly, and can also be cooled or heated beforehand for different sensations. And because of the size this is great for rough thrusting as well.

For me it is nice to use when I’m not up for anything too big, and just want something quick and easy . Because of the size it slips in without effort and feels comfortable.. It does not provide a full feeling but to be honest this was my second dildo and I came to love it. It still has a place in my toy box even though I prefer something with a larger girth at the moment.

Tantus Mark O2 Dildo Base

The base, as you can see above, has some surface damage on the base. It does not really impact the toy as it is only a cosmetic defect. But it is worth to mention.
Cleaning

As with other silicone toys cleaning is super simple. You can clean it with soap and water, sex toy cleaner, bleach solution and it can also be boiled or thrown in the top rack of the dishwasher. After cleaning it does attract dust and hair like crazy, you should keep it in a bag or a storage box – and rinse it before next use.
Conclusion

Mark is an average dildo, size wise, that’s great for sex toy beginners. It is nice and slender, made of quality materials that does not hurt your body. The O2 material gives another dimension to the toy and makes it pleasant to use, and feeling somewhat real. Should you need a bit more girth you can check out the Adam, from the same line. It is the next size up in the series and made of the same material.

Only downside is that it attracts dust and hair as well as being a bit static. But that’s the same as with most other silicone toys as well, no biggie!
